Can you guess the price of a typical funeral? Most people aren't aware that the typical cost of a funeral today is $8,500. That’s a heavy burden to carry when they are facing grief and pain. If your loved ones cannot manage that expense, they may end up with large debts as a result of your passing. With a life insurance policy from State Farm, your family can survive, even without your income. Whether it maintains a current standard of living, pays off debts, or keeps paying for your home, the life insurance you choose can be there when it’s needed most by your loved ones.
Mark A. Reid Sr., I have been serving my community for over 25 years. I was born in Jamaica. I arrived here in the US in my early teenage years. Raised by my hard-working grandparents and equally hard-working mother, I am no stranger to hard work myself. It was a struggle to learn the culture and language. I had to work twice as hard as other kids to get up to speed academically. I graduated high school and went on to attend The Pennsylvania State University. It was there where I began to develop my sense of community. I became a radio personality at a local radio station. Bringing the Island rhythms to the community gave me purpose and joy. I graduated and obtained my BA in communication from Penn State University. I went on to work in management, and customer service for over 20 years. My customer service, and management skills are impeccable. My goal is to make you feel like family because you are family to me. I understand what it means to be able to provide for family. I believe it starts in the communities, where we live, where our families live, and work.
In my heart, I am a family man, and I understand the importance of making sure your loved ones are taken care of. In my spear time I enjoy going to see my kids play in their various athletic games. On very rear occasions, when my kids were younger, I have even managed to coach a few of the kid’s games. I quickly found out I loved coaching as it gave me a chance to grow closer to my kids. The smiles on their faces are priceless. As a family man, I am married with three kids and a dog. One girl and 2 boys and a proud owner of a black and tan hound mix, life is full.
I enjoy life as much as possible. Besides tending to the needs of my family, I love helping people in the community provide a better life for themselves and their families. I believe in helping people in the community lower their unexpected risk and assist them in recognizing their dreams.
